City carillonneur Richard de Waardt invites top carillonneurs and other top musicians to create a beautiful, fun and unforgettable musical evening. The roof of the Heuvel Building is an ideal listening place to listen to the 17th century carillon of the Laurenstoren. Carillonneurs from the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and the United States immerse you in the wonderful world of bronze bell art. The performance of the carillonneurs alternates with beautiful and intimate live music on the listening area of the roof terrace by professional musicians . Upon arrival, everyone is offered a free snack and drink by hostess Irene Smit and the bar is also open during the concert. In short, a wonderfully musical summer evening in a unique and exclusive spot in the heart of Rotterdam.

Carillon: Claire Janezic (USA)

Claire Janezic studied carillon at the Royal Carillon School 'Jef Denyn' in Mechelen, Belgium. Claire previously played the carillon for 5 years at the University of Rochester, where she graduated in 2022 with a double major in Music and History and a minor in Audio and Music Engineering. Claire spent her senior year at the University of Rochester teaching carillon and organizing a weekly carillon concert series. She has given concerts in the United States, Belgium, Ireland, Germany, Lithuania, France, the Netherlands and Denmark.

Neighbors Trio – a musical journey between India, Italy and Iran. The world music project 'Neighbours' started as a duo: Reza Mirjalali and Simone Bottasso discovered they were neighbors while studying at CODARTS. They performed in national and international world music festivals: Music Meeting, Etetrad Festival (Italy), Suoni Mobili (Milan), Hide and Seek (Brussels). They once invited their beloved guru Niti Biswas to join the band for a concert in Batavierhuis (Rotterdam), and after that the trio continued to play together: in 2021 they performed at North Sea Round Town and gave a sold-out show with the New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra in Lantarenraam.
