City carillonneur Richard de Waardt invites top carillonneurs and other top musicians to create a beautiful, fun and unforgettable musical evening. The roof of the Heuvel Building is an ideal listening place to listen to the 17th century carillon of the Laurenstoren. Carillonneurs from the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland and the United States immerse you in the wonderful world of bronze bell art. The performance of the carillonneurs alternates with beautiful and intimate live music on the listening area of the roof terrace by professional musicians . Upon arrival, everyone is offered a free snack and drink by hostess Irene Smit and the bar is also open during the concert. In short, a wonderfully musical summer evening in a unique and exclusive spot in the heart of Rotterdam.

Carillon: Peter Bray (AU)

Peter Bray is a Senior Carillonneur at the National Carillon in Canberra, Australia, and his passion for playing the carillon has taken him all over the world. After obtaining an honors degree in Music from the Australian National University in 2022, Peter graduated from the Royal Carillon School "Jef Denyn" in Mechelen, Belgium in 2023, and in the summer he embarked on a journey in which he gave concerts throughout Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Germany and Switzerland. Peter embraces a diverse range of musical styles and believes in programming pieces that resonate with everyone, from the timeless compositions of Bach to the iconic melodies of Star Wars.

Kika and Tuur regularly meet each other on international stages, but they never got around to making music together. They share a great musical passion, an urge for freedom and discovery. Each with their own distinct sound and story, but together... you have to see that! With her velvety sound, sparkling sound and compelling compositions, Dutch saxophonist Kika Sprangers is one of the most heart-conquering musicians in our country. Improviser and composer Tuur Florizoone is one of Belgium's most famous accordionists. With his charisma and palpable pleasure as a performer, he touches the heart of the music pieces as well as that of the listener.
