Hear everything about the Rotterdam nicknames for buildings and artworks during a tour in a special museum tram.
In this playful and now classic tour, you will hear the countless nicknames invented by Rotterdammers for works of art, buildings, streets, bridges, and so on. 'De Koopgoot' and 'De Kuip' are of course very well known, but do you also know 'Het Ding', 'De Gecrashte IJscocar' or 'De Libressesteeg'? And which of the more than twenty nicknames for the Erasmusbrug or Markthal do you know? Furthermore, there are many fun anecdotes, surprising facts, and the necessary humor from city guide and nickname collector Herco Kruik. The tour is conducted in a historic 1930s tram and the round trip lasts approximately 1.5 hours. The departure and end point is at the Willemsplein stop at the foot of the Erasmusbrug and near the Spido.
