Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition Semi-finals
During the semi-finals of the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition, 168 choreographers from various countries present their duets at Theater Zuidplein. Discover who advances to the grand final of RIDCC 2026.
In June 2026, the Rotterdam International Duet Choreography Competition (RIDCC) will take place at Theater Zuidplein. For three days, this is the place where top dance from around the world comes together, right in the heart of Rotterdam South.
From June 18 to 20, you will see the most personal and daring duets of today. Sixteen choreographers from various countries present their work. You will be right up close and feel the power of two dancers on stage: from quiet and vulnerable to physical and explosive.
What can you expect?
On Thursday, June 18 and Friday, June 19, eight choreographers will present their duets on each day. Each piece has its own atmosphere and tempo. RIDCC is more than a competition: it is primarily about the stories on stage. You will experience up close the tension, the release, and the energy of dancers giving their all.
The final is on Saturday, June 20.
