Rock mee met Drs. P!

With, among others, Erik van Muiswinkel, Fay Lovsky, Ringo Maurer, Dafne Holtland, Zazi, Ivo de Wijs, Pierre van Duijl, Wilma Bakker and Flip Noorman.

Ten years after his death, a selection of Dutch artists pay tribute to Drs. P, one of the Netherlands' greatest language virtuosos! Drs. P (1919-2015) sang his own repertoire in an inimitable way, but artists such as Gerard Cox, Jenny Arean and Adèle Bloemendaal also celebrated triumphs with his texts.

Now it's up to the next generation of Dutch artists to breathe new life into his compositions: Rock along with Drs. P!

Of course, the classics will be performed, such as Veerpont ('Heen en weer'), De Dodenrit ('Troika'), Het trapportaal and de Zusters Karamazov ('Tante Constance en Tante Mathilde'), but you can also expect bizarre, lesser-known songs from the oeuvre of Drs. P and, above all, fascinating new interpretations.

The backing band is led by pianist Jan Robijns, with Jac Bico (of the Analogues) on guitar, Bart de Ruiter on bass, Gert Wantenaar on accordion and Leon Klaasse on drums.
