RIDCC presenteert LHBTIQA+ -dansworkshop RIDCC, Ketelbinkie & Theater Rotterdam

The modern dance workshop is accessible to all genders, all levels and all bodies and takes place on the stage of Theater Rotterdam. In 2016, Italian dancer and choreographer Dario Tortorelli founded DiVEinD, with a focus on 'visual poetry of performing bodies'. Dario danced with Introdans, Conny Janssen Danst and Ann Van den Broek, among others, and teaches at various international dance companies and institutions.

Participants in the workshop are also invited to attend the outdoor performance Fάrιsa by choreographers Danae & Dionysios on the Schouwburgplein!

As co-initiator of the event, Ketelbinkie, the largest LGBTIQA+ sports association in the Netherlands, offers participants the opportunity to attend the dance workshop and performance for free.

“We believe in the importance of a sustainable culture of equality, diversity and inclusion. Where choreographers, regardless of origin, gender or sexual preference, can fully develop and develop his or her talent. That is why RIDCC feels related to Ketelbinkie. We are therefore proud to jointly offer this modern dance workshop by the renowned Dario Tortorelli and tickets for the final evening of the RIDCC competition.”

Maya Roest & Mischa van Leeuwen - artistic leaders & founders of RIDCC

"As the largest LGBTQIA+ sports association in the Netherlands, Ketelbinkie offers ten sports, both in teams and individually. One of them is dancing, where we listen carefully to the questions from the community and are currently answering that question by giving workshops in which a different dance style is always introduced. The collaboration with RIDCC and Theater Rotterdam fits in perfectly with what we have in mind for the community."

Gerard van Boven - chairman Ketelbinkie
