Resavoir at BIRD Rotterdam

Resavoir is a collaborative project led by Chicago-born composer and producer Will Miller. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2019 by International Anthem. Resavoir received widespread praise, including from Pitchfork, who called the album "a complex, soulful album that celebrates connection." VICE called it "lush and beautiful," and it was included on the 'Best of 2019' lists by NPR Music, Bandcamp, and BBC 6 Music's Gilles Peterson. At the end of 2019, Resavoir performed at the first Boiler Room Festival in London. During that trip they recorded a cover of the Charles Tolliver song "Plight" at the legendary London jazz venue Total Refreshment Centre. This song was later released on the Blue Note Records compilation Transmissions from Total Refreshment Center. In the fall of 2023, Resavoir will release their second self-titled album on International Anthem. Miller then introduces a revamped version of the live ensemble, featuring a new generation of Chicago musicians, including Eddie Burns (Frank Ocean, Clairo), William Corduroy and Kenneth Leftridge Jr.
