Piano Festival Rotterdam
A weekend full of Piano in all kinds of different settings. With Dance. With Paintings. With Orchestra. With Open Stage. With Jazz. With Light. With Ensemble and especially with youth!
From 24 to 26 October 2025, Rotterdam-Zuid will be bursting with piano sounds during the Piano Festival Rotterdam. The festival opens festively with a complete performance of Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky, framed by a unique children's exhibition: ten colourful paintings inspired by the music with dance, made by pupils from the neighbourhood.
The focus is on young piano talents who shine on three open stages – solo, with ensemble or even with orchestra. In addition, there are concerts by professional musicians and surprising performances in a relaxed atmosphere, such as a recumbent concert and an evening full of Chopin ballads.
The world premiere of 3 original new works with orchestra are also on the program. A weekend full of inspiration, imagination and keyboard art for all ages. For the full program, see www.pianofestival-rotterdam-zuid.nl .
