After his death, 24-year-old Sem does not immediately end up in heaven, but in an absurd bureaucratic limbo. There he has to fight his way through rules and forms to gain access to the afterlife.
When 24-year-old Sem dies, he might expect peace or enlightenment – but ends up in a heavenly bureaucracy. Instead of peace, a tangle of counters, rules and absurd procedures await him. The gates of heaven turn out not to be a spiritual destination, but an administrative challenge. While Sem tries to earn his place, existential questions collide with Kafkaesque humor. A tragicomic story about control, transience and the elusiveness of the afterlife.
