In this futuristic story about identity and fear, two performers translate the dreams, thoughts and daily experiences of being different that young people wrote down, especially for this project. They switch between recognizable types from today's pop culture: the fitboy, the influencer, the politician, the celebrity. These types are confronted with 'that which they do not know'. What are they actually afraid of?

From culture wars in the classroom and online to the world stage, fear of those who deviate from the norm is growing. And so is the violence that results... How do we stop treating each other like aliens? How can we listen to each other, instead of silencing each other? How do we build a future where every voice matters?

Young people play an important role in the making of this performance. In the run-up, they create choreographies, performance acts and rap lyrics/poetry about fighting for who you are, about transforming fear of others and about hopeful visions of the future. Their words, energy and moves come together in a mix of a science fiction film and a pop concert, of course with rousing music and solid visuals.
