In €472,000, Oscar Smit, winner of the Cameretten 2024 jury prize, wittily dissects the overheated housing market. How did it come to this? And is it all the fault of the politicians? (Spoiler: yes.)
After living in student housing for over ten years, Oscar wants to live on his own for a change. Not that he really has to leave that house. It’s still quite nice with his housemates. Oscar really has nothing bad to say about them. (Also because they might be reading this.)
But now it really is time for a place of my own. Time to start.

About Oscar Oscar Smit won the jury prize at the Cameretten Festival in 2024. The jury called him 'a committed creator who surprises with extremely clever jokes'. Oscar is a permanent member of the Comedyhuis in Utrecht and co-wrote the VPRO television program Plakshot.
