After the death of a loved one, a woman is in mourning. Step by step she becomes separated from the busy world of which she was once so effortlessly a part. She increasingly notices that it no longer suits her. It is becoming quieter and emptier around her, but inside her it is busy. She tries to recapture what it was like to still belong. A choir performs her memories; conversations and meetings that have taken place… or not? And who is that shadow chasing her? In her recurring dreams she hears her dear virtuoso playing the piano, but the playing becomes increasingly different, increasingly barren, increasingly empty.

Orchestra Soledad looks like a dream. Choir singing and classical piano music shape the inner world of a woman who has fallen into social isolation.
