After a series of awe-inspiring Live in HD performances, Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen returns to the Metropolitan Opera as Leonore, the faithful wife who risks everything to save her husband from the clutches of tyranny in Beethoven's Fidelio.

The distinguished cast is completed by the British tenor David Butt Philip as the political prisoner Florestan, the Polish bass-baritone Tomasz Konieczny as the evil Don Pizarro, the experienced German bass René Pape as the prison guard Rocco, the Chinese soprano Ying Fang and the German tenor Magnus Dietrich as the young Marzelline and Jaquino, and the Danish bass Stephen Milling as the principled Don Fernando.

Pathé Schouwburgplein shows exclusive Swan Lake ballet in IMAX format

The world-famous Swan Lake (Swan Lake) ballet, performed by the Paris Opera's famous ballet company, has been shot with IMAX cameras for the first time. This unique screening of the ballet, lasting 145 minutes, will be shown at Pathé Schouwburgplein from Friday 8 to 10 November.
