Opening-event RiF010 - De Rotterdam Open

Rotterdam will become the first city in the world with an 'urban surf pool'. From 2024, perfect waves will roll through the canal on which everyone can surf and bodyboard. In addition to activities on the waves, you can also learn to scuba dive in the purified water of the Steigersgracht. And on the Rotte, at the rear of the wooden beach house, canoes and SUPs can be rented to discover Rotterdam from the Rotte. RiF010 is a water sports location for everyone, in the middle of Rotterdam!

The official opening of the city initiative will take place on July 6. RiF010 invites all Rotterdammers to get acquainted with the surfing culture in the middle of the city. During the opening, the international surfing competition ROTTERDAM SURF OPEN will take place, you can get acquainted with new music styles and there will be a surfing market.
