A Finnish evening in Rotterdam
Oulu Music Video Festival and the Finnish record label Elektorni are jointly organizing an evening full of music videos, films, and electronic music. All of this takes place at 'Time is the new space' in Rotterdam.
Discover new releases and unique films
During this evening, they are celebrating the release of ELKTRN009: Mesak – Paina Pause 12” . You will find copies of this at the event. The evening starts at 8:00 PM with a screening of the cult film Sähkö (1995). This film offers a unique look at the Finnish record label Sähkö Recordings. You will see rare footage of artists such as Mika Vainio and Ilpo Väisänen .
Dive into Finnish music videos
At 9:00 PM, a special selection of rare Finnish music videos from the period 1994–2025 begins. These videos feature electronic music, but also Finnish tango, dub, and early hip hop. Many of these videos cannot be found on YouTube. This is your chance to see them in Rotterdam!
Live music and DJ sets
Enjoy performances by Wrong Sal (22:00), Juhani Oivo (23:30), and a live set by Mesak (01:00). Mesak , a member of the electro duo Mr Velcro Fastener , will perform an analog live set. The Utrecht-based Finnish DJ teemup will close the evening with a Finnish electro heritage set.

Time is the new space reopens
