North Sea Round Town
North Sea Round Town is the fringe festival of NN North Sea Jazz.
Just over two and a half weeks before the NN North Sea Jazz Festival kicks off, North Sea Round Town kicks off. Featuring local, national, and international artists, we'll be warming up Rotterdam for the city's biggest music festival with the best jazz, soul, funk, improv, electronic, hip-hop, R&B, and pop. The nineteenth edition of North Sea Round Town runs from June 25 to Sunday, July 12, 2026.
In the lead-up to the NN North Sea Jazz Festival, the Fringe Festival will host over 350 concerts at more than 125 venues in Rotterdam. We're collaborating with North Sea Jazz and initiatives, programmers, producers, and venues across the city. We're passionate about connecting young, emerging talent with established names, and performing together at the Fringe. North Sea Round Town also makes live (jazz) music accessible to anyone who can't attend North Sea Jazz.
North Sea Round Town's goals include providing a platform for emerging (local) talent, enlivening the streets with free live music in the city center and surrounding neighborhoods, and fulfilling a social and community role in our city. We also achieve this by creating unique musical programs featuring NSRT productions at iconic Rotterdam locations and organizing adventurous musical tours that will continue to amaze Rotterdam.
