Because although we really do our best to understand each other better, there is still so much to learn, to bring together, to shout out, to discuss, to desire, to feel and to burst out laughing. Because of where we are now, our origins, our future. And what better medicine than the raw, hilarious, overwhelming, exploring boundaries, sexy, box-breaking theater tornado of Nina de la Parra? Child of two countries, daughter of theater and comedy, sister of every woman.

After the success of Gods Wegen (awarded the VSCD Cabaret Prize Neerlands Hoop 2020/2021) and BloodBitches (selected for the NTF 2023) with which Nina de la Parra also visited Valhalla, Nina returns to Katendrecht this season with NINA SPEELT.

About Nina

Nina is a versatile artist with a surprising voice that cannot be categorised. She is a street urchin from Paramaribo and an elitist bitch from Amsterdam South. As the child of a Surinamese father and a Dutch mother, she makes hilarious feminist double-blooded statements where she never leaves herself out of harm's way.

She wrote the book MAKE WOMEN COME and she set up the FEMILICIOUS in collaboration with De Kleine Komedie: a new continuous sweaty workshop evening for emerging female talent.
