Nhung Dam - Nhung Geeft Zich Bloot

Shake off all labels, leave the boxes for what they are

We are so happy that Nhung is coming to Walhalla, because the actress relentlessly throws all theater genres into the blender: cabaret, theater, standup, opera and her secret ingredient Vietnamese Punk.

And somewhere in between she also knows how to draw a red line. In the performance Nhung Geeft Zich Bloot, Nhung shows that you can be proud of your origins and how enriching it is. Where she used to be ashamed of her hard-code Vietnamese upbringing with chopsticks and a karaoke set, she now embraces her identity.

This performance is about making your dreams come true, no matter how impossible that sometimes seems. Shake off all labels and leave the boxes for what they are.

You can't become everything you want. You can be anything you are.
