Four young film students and experienced film lovers share their personal connection with two influential films. Expect depth, cross-generational conversations and a post-show full of observations and insights.
In the third edition of Movies That Shaped You, graduated film students from the Grafisch Lyceum meet the more experienced members of the film club. Together they introduce two films that have shaped them: Das Leben der Anderen and The Darjeeling Limited. The introducers explain why these films in particular affected them – like a needle in a haystack, or an unexpected mirror. Through personal reflections and cinematic context, you as a viewer are given tools to look at the films differently and more deeply. During the after-party, everything comes together: a conversation between generations about meaning, style and impact.
