Modern AfriQa #3 de Eritrese Volkskeuken van Daniel Grmazion

We taste Eritrean cuisine and take a bi-cultural journey through the lens of the Afro-diaspora in Rotterdam.

On Friday 23 May 2025, Modern AfriQa will present the third episode of its programme series 'AFRICA IS NOT A COUNTRY'

We are pleased to invite you to Daniel Grmazion's Eritrean People's Kitchen.

Daniel Grmazion (Asmara, 1984) is a specialist in the field of intercultural communication and management with years of experience as a consultant and trainer in, among other things, the Asylum & Migration domain. As an expert in this field, he has led various organizations and has been able to implement his vision of culturally sensitive work both nationally and internationally. In addition, he is active as a social entrepreneur in both the sports and cultural sectors. Due to his bi-cultural background, he always carries out his professional work with great passion, because he can make a difference with it. That same passion has contributed to the development of this platform.

During each edition we discover the rich cuisine of the programmed country and a delicious dish is served. Indicate in advance when buying a ticket whether you prefer a vegetarian dish. The evening will be presented by Mahutin Awunou. The programme includes: a dinner meal and a welcome drink, the story of the main guest and an AfriQa Pub Quiz to conclude under the guidance of Jane Ortet.
