Metgezwel - REINDIER & Sander Plukaard | HNT

How does a relationship survive the biggest nightmare: your partner turns out to have a head tumor. Every morning, actor Sander Plukaard and musician REINDIER got up with a smile and a dance. Not that there was anything to celebrate, but the only thing she could carry through this period was positivity. In this humorous musical theater performance, these two chaotic artists explain how they continued to search for the ray of hope in dark times.

“With energy, content and flexibility, they turn Metgezwel into an intimate, musical story that has only one drawback: it is too short,” says de Volkskrant. After the overwhelming success at Theater Festival De Parade, with sold-out halls and enthusiastic audiences, Metgezwel is coming to the theaters with a full-length version, to draw even more people to their hearts with this true, moving love story.

Parade hit

At the Parade Theater Festival in the summer of 2023, Metgezwel immediately became a Parade hit. Sold out halls, very enthusiastic reviews and, above all, many people with similar medical stories who found recognition and comfort in the performance. Metgezwwel can rightly be called a Parade pearl.
