Dineke Faas portrays Mata Hari and gives a lovely, inspiring dance performance in the intimacy of the Koopmanskamer.
With the performance Mata Hari – the art of seduction – theatre maker and burlesque dancer Dineke Faas aims to pay homage to female power throughout the ages. The performance is an intimate, 50-minute living room project in which dance, performance, and storytelling come together. Central to it is the life and legacy of Mata Hari: an exotic dancer, a (possible) spy, and above all, a woman who dared to live with boldness and free choices in her time.
