After an absence of 6 years, during which Mark worked in youth care, the Rotterdam songwriter returned last March with “Stedentrip”, his first Dutch-language album.

This year, the successor is already here: “It never rains all day”. Seven songs about the role of parents, and the consequences of the idea that we can make things happen.

Here again is the lonely teenager; a theme that Lotterman also sang about with Lucky Fonz III in the Spotify hit: “Ze weten niets”.

André Manuel sings along on “Who will help me?” about a woman who needs help, but doesn’t ask for it. Andre has been a welcome guest in all Dutch-language theaters for years as a comedian, but also as a musician. His song “Kraaien” was named one of the best Dutch-language songs of all time by 3voor12.
