Maria Milstein speelt Brahms’ vioolconcert bij Symfonieorkest Bellitoni

Star violinist Maria Milstein returns as a soloist with the Bellitoni Symphony Orchestra in Johannes Brahms' violin concerto. He wrote it as a tribute to violinist Joseph Joachim who also played it at the premiere in 1879.

After the break, chief conductor Jurjen Hempel conducts Gustav Mahler's First Symphony, which was first performed ten years later - in 1889. Mahler, the master of the symphony, completely turned the music world upside down with his First. Although the symphony has nature and life as its subject, a symphony has never sounded so intimate and spiritual; Never before had a composer allowed such a look into his soul.
