Marc Ribot Quartet

After the death of trumpeter Roy Campbell Jr., bassist Henry Grimes also left the band, after which Spiritual Unity was disbanded. Since then, Marc Ribot and drummer Chad Taylor have been looking for new band members to continue the music. With Hurry Red Telephone they succeeded!

Together with the deep and original grooves of bassist Sebastian Steinberg, the reckless but sensitive guitar playing of Ava Mendoza, and the experienced drummer Chad Taylor, Marc Ribot promises another crazy live experience. Expect a mix of dirty guitar grooves full of motor oil, expressive jazz, rough guitar solos and lots of improvisation.
