Mannen, Kwetsbaarheid & de Kracht van Verbinding

Mannen Huilen Ook is organising an interactive workshop on masculinity, mental health and loneliness at Dokhuis Dialogue. It is an open and accessible conversation where you will learn about vulnerability and connection. Everyone is welcome to take part in this important conversation.

About the workshop

Mannen Huilen Ook invites you for an open and accessible conversation about masculinity, mental health and loneliness. Many men feel alone, even when they are surrounded by people. During this interactive workshop, you will talk about what is really going on inside you.

What can you expect?

Discover why men sometimes find it difficult to share their feelings and how you can connect with yourself and others. The workshop offers relatable situations, honest conversations and interactive exercises. You do not have to share anything you do not want to; listening is also participating.

Who is the workshop for?

People of all gender identities are welcome. Exploring vulnerability, the power of connection and increasing awareness about mental health in men is valuable for everyone. The language of instruction will be determined together with the participants, but most sessions are in English.

About the host

Irenio Dionizio, founder of Mannen Huilen Ook, breaks the taboo surrounding vulnerability in men. With walks, workshops and open conversations, he brings men together to talk about mental health. His mission: to show that vulnerability is not a weakness and that you do not have to carry it alone.
