Listening to MADMADMAD can be wonderfully disorienting, a feeling echoed in the collage-like, homemade visual art that accompanies their music. With bouncy rhythms and angular synth lines, their intoxicating electro delve deep into the worlds of mutant disco and early electronic music. The trio creates a mesmerizing, ever-evolving sound, inspired by otherworldly sounds, early 2000s electro, and the raw dance-punk energy of New York in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Over their three albums, MADMADMAD have firmly established themselves as constant innovators. Their upcoming EP promises another surprising twist: Chemical Brothers-esque textures, Bollywood-infused guitar riffs, ominous basslines, and laser-focused chaos that will set dance floors ablaze.
