Splash! returns to the stage with a tour in Rotterdam, the city where it all began for the band. The band is known for a mix of funaná and coladeira, complemented by influences from zouk, reggae, salsa, and soul.
The return of Splash!
Splash! was founded in the Netherlands in 1990 and grew into a well-known name within the Cape Verdean music scene. The band developed its own recognizable sound by combining funaná and coladeira with influences from zouk, reggae, salsa and soul. Over the years, Splash! has built a strong musical history with albums such as Simplicidade, Terra K’Tchuva, Contradição and Celebra. In 1998, the band received a silver record in Europe for Terra K’Tchuva. Now, Splash! is returning to the stage.
