A performance by seniors from South Rotterdam about all facets of life: With stories, poetry, visual arts and theatre.
In Levenslijn, the oldest residents of Rotterdam-Zuid tell about life in Rotterdam, past and present. About special encounters, loss and resilience, about homesickness and hope. Stories that touch, surprise and inspire. The performance is framed by self-written songs, personal stories and music.
The visual works that were made around the theme 'lifeline' are part of the decor. On the occasion of this performance, the book of the same name, Lifeline, is also published, in which the stories and artworks are collected in words and images.
Generatieclub Feijenoord consists of a diverse group of seniors with different backgrounds. In recent months, they have worked intensively together to discover, develop and share their talents with the public. The result is a warm and layered performance in which the voice of older Rotterdammers is central.
