Leoni Jansen en Carel Kraayenhof - Melancholie in de Polder 3
The Beemster duo Carel Kraayenhof and Leoni Jansen are not yet done playing the most beautiful music for each other and the audience. That is why there is now Melancholie in de Polder 3!
Naturally, they once again choose Argentine folk music, Irish and Scottish traditionals, pop and folk songs, sung in Spanish, English, and Dutch, and talk about matters close to their hearts and the audience's. The extra dimension this time? They play their own pieces and songs, composed for bandoneon, voice, guitar, and bodhran, inspired by the polder landscape where they live.
Wonderfully beautiful music, made with feet in the old clay, an eye on the present world, and a warm heart; that is Melancholie in de Polder 3.
