LE MOTAT

Named after an animal that falls under the category of moth, LE MOTAT is an act for exactly that kind of people: night owls. Somewhere in a dark alley of the street Spinvis, André Hazes and Goldband he writes and produces indie bangers and tearjerkers, that are as poetic as they are direct in nature. However, not in French, but in the language of love.

After he just threw you off track with an absurdist song about Cardboard, you all end up singing along to songs like De Mat, 1 Uurtje Verliefd or Naar de Klote. After all, if everything is going to shit anyway, you might as well go together.

The songs on his upcoming album The Supreme Moment are a quest for love for yourself, others and the universe—dancing along a path battered by escapism, longing and heartbreak.
