Laatste Ronde

Film with discussion afterwards. Moderator talks to the director of the film Boris Paval Conen and the writer of the screenplay Bert Wagendorp. When childhood friends André, Bart and David, all in their 50s, start doing odd jobs in an old farm owned by friend Joost in Belgium, they no longer appear immortal. They still effortlessly alternate between leaden seriousness and lazy talk, but this does not escape the fact that they are getting older. Loyalty, destiny and humor are their lifeline to face the next phase in their lives.
