KIP Republic KINGS... Come Home (premiere) ^premiere

A family has had to leave the motherland and arrives in the west where they hope for safety and happiness. The family finds a house in the middle of a field. It is warm, safe and nice. Until the walls start moving and the house slowly falls apart. They have to move on. Looking for a new place again. Constantly having to move shows what it is like not to have a fixed place due to social, economic, colonial and political influences. As they desperately search for a home, all kinds of hidden stories and current themes emerge. A must see for everyone!

The performance is directed and co-created by Winston (Winne) Bergwijn, who is responsible for the music. Faizah Grootens does the choreography.
