Joker: Folie à Deux

In 2019, director Todd Phillips put a new spin on the comic book adaptation with Joker , making the opposite of a superhero film. Joker was a dark, visceral look into the psyche of a man cast aside by society and left to fend for himself.

Todd Phillips, who was nominated for the Oscars as writer, director and producer of Joker , also directed this second part, from a screenplay he wrote with Scott Silver. With nice supporting roles from Brendan Gleeson ( The Banshees of Inisherin ) and Catherine Keener ( Capote ).
