John Williams presents RnB Oldskool Hits

John Williams was born on December 27, 1969 in Paramaribo. After HAVO, he followed the HBO course “Policy, Governance and Management” at the Hague University of Applied Sciences and the preliminary training at the Theater School in Maastricht.

His professional career starts behind the scenes. In theater he worked as an assistant manager at “Sound of Motown” and “La Cage aux Folles” and in television as a production assistant at producer IDTV. In front of the screen he plays roles in, among others, the police series “Blauw Blauw” as officer Rodney, Costa and professional football player Kevin Borgers. In “On the Road to Tomorrow” he plays the role of doctor Maurice Zegers, in the drama series “Westenwind” he plays bouncer Bob and in “Bon Bini Beach” he plays the role of Glenn.

He also started as a presenter of various television programs. A screen test makes it clear that he has sufficient talents for this. In the following years he became the face of many television programs at Veronica, Yorin, RTL5 and RTL4.

He has been one of the faces of the RTL4 morning program “Lijn4” for more than 3.5 years. With Stella Gommans he presents the program “House Vision”, in which they look for the most beautiful rental and owner-occupied homes at home and abroad. In 2006, Williams participates as a candidate in the program “Dancing on Ice” and is a participant in programs such as “Let's Dance” and “I love Holland”.
