In the past, John Adams, who now lives in Colorado (USA), came to the Netherlands a number of times to dedicate the Doelen to his musical idol: John Denver. These concerts were an incredible success and the audience massively asked for more. Especially for you, he will return from Colorado to De Doelen in the spring of 2025, together with his musical wife!
John Adams started with the music of Denver in 1972 and has now been performing the music of America's Rocky Mountain Legend for over 35 years, won the SoundmixShow in 1988 and has even performed together with John Denver.
In October 1997, John Denver's unique voice was silenced by a tragic plane accident and to ensure that John Denver's music is not forgotten, John Adams has put together a beautiful repertoire.
Of course with big hits such as Leaving On A Jet Plane, Annie's Song, Calypso, Country Roads, Take Me Home and Thank God I'm A Country Boy.
