After a time-out, during which a lot - and then nothing - happened, the indie power pop band releases the new album The Great Vacation on Excelsior Recordings. This record is JOHAN's most adventurous album to date. Thirteen brand new songs, which nestle effortlessly among classics such as Pergola, Tumble and Fall, Oceans and About Time . The record was made during a period when everything was at a standstill: corona, the lockdowns. A forced break that interrupted everyday life, but ultimately became a bigger routine than the life we knew before. “You long for something new, a different point of view,” sings frontman Jacob de Greeuw.
