In October 2024, the album Precious Bane will be released, the latest release from Jim White. It is a collaboration with Trey Blake, according to Jim 'the undiscovered Patti Smith from the UK'.

About Jim

Jim White earned his living as a boxer, priest, professional surfer, model and taxi driver before he was discovered by David Byrne (Talking Heads). He is now a respected name in the contemporary alternative country and roots music scene. White has already worked with big names such as Joe Henry, Bill Frisell and Aimee Mann on his records. His songs are very narrative and often deal with the underbelly of the southern US. It is therefore no coincidence that Jim White is brilliant in the BBC documentary Searching for the Wrong-Eyed Jesus, about musicians who were inspired by the culture of the southern US.

About Trey

Trey wrote a book about her childhood as an undiagnosed autistic child in the rough working class climate of England. She is also a photographer and writes music. She recorded her songs in Joe Dilworth's studio (Stereolab).
