Back in the day, everything was black and white or black and white. Really! Just look at old movies and photos. Until one day, the king and queen receive a mysterious package containing all the colors you could ever wish for. They decide to color the world together. Starting with their favorite fruit: the Banana!

The king wants the banana green. The queen yellow. It doesn't take long before there is a quarrel and everyone in the kingdom will and must show their colours: yellow or green! The wisest people are allowed to have their say and even the people put their two cents in. But no one has the answer.

The king and queen are starting to lose patience. Peace is in danger and time is running out. Everyone is obsessed with the banana dispute. The solution seems further away than ever. But then, just in the nick of time, Irene and the audience stage a coup banana!
