Janneke de Bijl - Doet U Ook Mensen?

Janneke de Bijl and Valhalla go waaaaaaay back. Well: at least for a few years now. You saw Janneke in our own Cabaret Club Giggle. Janneke came by with her previous show Dit Is Het Nou and she used you as a loyal audience for the try-out of Does U Also People?

Now she's back with the definitive, shiny and brand new version of that show. A performance about the downside of friendship and the harshness of animal love. The essential questions are: How are the Hutus and Tutsis doing now? Can you save someone who wants to die? And where do you place the exclamation marks in your agenda?

Janneke de Bijl won Cameretten, is a member of Comedytrain and was named comedy talent of 2019 by de Volkskrant. She also regularly makes waves on Radio 1 and beyond. Do You Also Do People? is her third cabaret program. Her debut novel Als, Dan was published by Nijgh & van Ditmar in the summer of 2023. And oh yes, she is also a philosopher – not all the time, but always.
