Iris Hond

Iris Hond has proven herself over the years as a world-class artist. She plays in the large classical concert halls, but feels equally at home in pop halls and on festival stages. She is not only known for her great piano playing, but also for the way she knows how to involve the audience in her personal shows. After several concert tours and admired performances of Ludovico Einaudi's music, Iris now presents her new album Dust Awakened By Dawn. On this album Iris searches for the true reflection of who she is, without adornment or mask. On this tour she takes you into her inner world.

Iris breaks boundaries in the music world and follows her own unique path. She is loved for her inspiring way of storytelling, both with words and music and is appreciated by big names such as Ludovico Einaudi, but also by people who are often forgotten, such as the homeless. Iris shares her music not only in normal places, but also in places where not many people can go, such as prisons and hospitals. She receives help from the Iris Hond Foundation for this mission.
