IFFR op Plein – vrijdag
Fenix is joining forces with IFFR, the International Film Festival Rotterdam. From film screenings and hands-on activities to a kids' corner and Film Club events, there's plenty to do at Plein from February 6th to 8th.
IFFR has been a global beacon for film lovers for years. The festival supports independent filmmakers and showcases cinema in all its forms. For Rotterdam, it's a regular annual highlight. From February 6th to 8th, Plein will be dedicated to IFFR.
The square transforms into a walk-in cinema all weekend long, screening short film programs in an informal setting. The program often ties in with the theme of migration and receives support from partners such as the Displacement Film Fund, the Buddy Film Foundation, and COC Rotterdam. Films by local filmmakers (RTM) and collaborations with local organizations like Skateland, Dokhuis, and mint2 will also be shown.
In addition to film screenings and Q&As, there are also creative activities every day, such as embroidering the iconic IFFR tiger. Or participate in the "Drawing the Tiger" workshop, where you can experiment with painting and mixed-media techniques.

Fenix, Studio De Zolder and restaurant Mies debut at Museumnacht010
Museumnacht010 takes place on Saturday 7 March, transforming Rotterdam into one big art landscape. This edition welcomes a number of new venues such as the new art museum Fenix on Katendrecht, the interdisciplinary Studio De Zolder in Middelland, and the restaurant Mies, located in a Bauhaus icon.
