This Kids Only workshop “Make your own soundtrack” is led by the Rotterdam organization Watch That Sound
If you've ever watched a movie with the sound off, you'll probably agree: film is more than just moving images. The music, sound effects, and dialogue all influence how we experience a film.
This kids-only workshop, "Create Your Own Soundtrack," is led by the Rotterdam-based organization Watch That Sound . Participants will work with a selection of clips from various films from IFFR 2025's new educational program. The children will learn about the role of music and sound in films and will design, create, and record their own sound design.
The activity is especially for all young creatives aged 8 to 12. While the children are getting creative, parents and caregivers can enjoy the festival on their own.
