Stichting Dansers voor Dans presents Hour One—a mix of festival, exhibition, club night and theatre performance. Instead of sitting neatly on a chair, you determine your own route through multiple rooms. Each room has its own atmosphere and surprises, from light art and video to compelling soundscapes and dance.

You are the main character

Definitely not a boring show, because you walk with your drink in your hand along the work of various makers and you become part of the story. Think of established artists such as Fernando Troya, Richard van Kruysdijk and Noralie, supplemented with new talent such as Eilit Marom and Riccardo Zandonà. The evening ends in a big movement meditation—or is it a rave?

Why Hour One?

Mara Hulspas and Bryndis Ragna Brynjolfsdottir (former dancers at Scapino Ballet Rotterdam) want to show that a theatre experience goes beyond traditional theatre walls. Together they bring together different disciplines in one immersive setting, so that everyone—from art lovers to nightlife enthusiasts—can experience something new.
