Het Brugwachtershuisje Atelier – Workshop: Maak je eigen ansichtkaart

  • Brugwachtershuisje Koninginnebrug Noord-oost
  • Diverse
  • Free

The Brugwachtershuisje at the Koninginnebrug is being temporarily transformed into a studio where visitors – from children to adults – can get creative and make their own postcard.

During this creative workshop in the bridge keeper's house at the Koninginnebrug in Rotterdam, participants will create their own postcard about the bridge keeper's houses, the water, and the surrounding area. Naturally, they can take their postcard home with them. Participants can choose a postcard from the past, the present, or the future. • A postcard from the past invites participants to imagine what life looked like a hundred years ago. • A postcard from the present shows how people experience the area today. • A postcard from the future explores how we might live with the water in the future and what function the bridge keeper's houses might have then. By drawing, using their imagination, and telling stories, participants discover different perspectives on these special places and their surroundings. The workshops are accessible and suitable for all ages. Experience with drawing or making art is not necessary. All materials are provided. In addition, there are free cookies and drinks. Visitors can walk in at any time and stay as long as they like within the two-hour timeframe. Workshop facilitators: Ulrike Hahn and Yasmin Stip.
