Remembrance Day is a powerful and worthy occasion to reflect on the loss and sacrifices of the past, while remembering together the value of peace and freedom.
Every year we commemorate all civilians and military personnel who have been killed or murdered in the Kingdom of the Netherlands or anywhere else in the world since the outbreak of the Second World War, in war situations and during peace operations.
