The success of The Spotify Tour (2022-2023) and the concert series Let's Age On Stage (2024) has left Gruppo Sportivo wanting more, which is why they are touring again this year. This time, the legendary band, originally from The Hague, is taking a different approach. 'Back To Nature' is the motto, and with this the company is returning to the natural, warm sounds of semi-acoustic guitars, piano and percussion. "During the show, we will return to the essence of making music, to ourselves, to the beginning of a song, just as cheerfully and swingingly as ever," says Hans Vandenburg.
The characteristic frontman, together with Bombita's Lies Schilp & Inge Bonthond, is responsible for the vocals and he plays all the guitar parts. The only 13-year-old (!) talent Len de Quant will take over from his proud mentor, the prematurely deceased keyboardist Peter Calicher, during the upcoming tour. Of course, co-founder and drummer Max Mollinger and bassist Tim Barning will be back.
During the performance, expect hits such as 'Beep Beep Love', 'Hey Girl' and 'Disco Really Made It', other favorites from the 13-album oeuvre and also new songs from the 2025 EP 'Back To Nature, Vol. 2' of an undiminished creative and inspired Gruppo Sportivo.
