Groeipijn S10

Stien: “I want to discover my story together with the visitors. I want to tell you about a young girl who has been through a lot, but has also bounced back. A story full of hope, told honestly, without embellishment.” When is there room for a new story? Maybe it's a ritual of letting go. Letting go of pain and old ideas, and a celebration of all the possibilities that lie in the now. Together with its regular band members, S10 plays partly familiar repertoire, but also new music. She takes you into the origins of her songs and the stories behind them.

About S10

The 23-year-old artist S10, the stage name of Stien den Hollander, is now the crown princess of Dutch alternative pop. At the age of 17 she signed her first recording contract. After her debut album Snowsniper (2019) and Vlinders (2020), which were both critically acclaimed, she released 'I Exist Forever As Long as You Think About Me' in 2022. With, among other things, 'De Diepte' with which she represented the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest. This album was awarded an Edison in the 'Dutch-language' category and a 3FM Award for 'Best Album'. Last year she played in a sold-out AFAS Live and toured the Netherlands with a sold-out club tour. She also performed at festivals such as Down The Rabbit Hole and Lowlands, and this summer at Pinkpop and Pukkelpop.

“Growing pains is more than a collection of songs, and that is its great strength. You could almost see and listen to it as one long epic poem in which S10 brings together the urge for life and fear of life, the pain of love and the desire for security in an inimitable way.”
