Gratis toegang Belasting & Douane Museum / Museum ’40 – ‘45 nu

Tuesday, May 14, 1940, the bombing of Rotterdam. One day after the bombing, on Wednesday, May 15, 1940, General Winkelman signed the capitulation of the Netherlands in a school building in Rijsoord. The beginning of everything. With the Good/Wrong exhibition, the Tax and Customs Museum links up with the intriguing stories of Museum '40 – '45 NU. Take a journey through history and visit both museums for free every 1st Wednesday of the month!

Take a historic walk from Parklaan to Coolhaven this spring. Walk past various WWII landmarks in the area between Het BDM & Museum 40-45 NU. Learn more about this historic environment, the history of Rotterdam & then visit the museums!
