Gangster Jimmy 'The Gent' Conway (Robert De Niro) is highly respected by his fellow criminals. His role as the charming, but constantly on the verge of a nervous breakdown, gangster Tommy DeVito earned him the statuette for best supporting actor. In 'Casino' he would reprise this legendary role.
